The Interuniversity Master and PhD Programs in Economics and Innovation Management are implemented jointly by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), enabling students to access the resources of the three universities, regardless of the center where they are enrolled. These programs offer teaching, professional competence, and initiation to advanced research in an area of rising influence in contact with leading European research teams.
These Programs have their background in the extinct Interuniversity PhD Program in Economics and Innovation Management and Technology Policy offered over the period 1998-2007. The said Program was awarded with the Quality Mention by the Ministry of Education and Science in year 2006 for the period 2006-2007.
The PhD Program in Economics and Innovation Management (DEGIN) obtained the Mention to Excellence Award from the Ministry of Education (Decision of the General Secretariat of Universities October 6, 2011) for academic years 2011-2012, 2012-2013, and 2013-2014. With this mention, DEGIN Program becomes an international reference.
On 12th July 2017, Master Program in Economics and Innovation Management (MEGIN) obtained the Favourable Report of Accreditation Renewal from Conocimiento Madri+d Foundation.
